Dr Jenner’s House, Museum and Garden is run by The Jenner Trust, an independent registered charity (number 1158316). We are not in receipt of any regular public funding and so we rely on what we can raise through visitor income and on generous donations and grants. This year, and every year, we need to raise £20,000 and you can find out why here.
There are all sorts of ways in which you can help us, including one-off gifts, running an event for us, leaving us a legacy, or just visiting the museum. If you feel able to make a regular gift that would be particularly appreciated as it helps us to plan for the future.
You can make a one-off or regular gift here through BT MyDonate. If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider using this option to Gift Aid as it allows us to receive an extra 25% at no cost to yourself.
You can also donate via PayPal if you prefer, or by text message: text JENN34 £5 to 70070 to give £5 to the appeal.
Over the course of the year we’ll be organising fundraising events at the museum, including a quiz night, and all details will be published here in due course.
Are you thinking of organising an event for us? Do let us know and we’ll be happy to give you some information and advice. If you will be fundraising on our behalf you can set up a fundraising page on BT MyDonate.
We are not just trying to fundraise for this year; the museum will always rely heavily on people’s generosity. If you are considering supporting the museum in the future by leaving a gift in your will then we would be very glad to talk to you about the difference your legacy would make. We recommend speaking to a solicitor when making or changing your will.
We raise a significant proportion of our income through visitor income, as well as visits by groups and schools and corporate venue hires in our Old Cyder House Conference Centre. We would love it if you could visit us and tell your friends too. Perhaps you are a member of a group who go on organised visits? Or looking for a venue for your next board meeting? Please see our website for more information.
However you choose to support Dr Jenner’s House, Museum and Garden this year: thank you!
